Kiwi's Hockey 5th May

We went to Gallagher hockey centre and our team had their gear. We got our shirts from Emily's mum. We practiced together while we waited for our game to start.  

Soon we heard our coach blow the whistle, we rushed out to the field. 

We played against Hillcrest School. We won 3- 0 and the player of the day was Laura.

T-Ball Tournament

Twenty four of our Kauri Team students went to Tauwhare School for the annual T-Ball tournament. Each team played six games - whew! It was a busy, exciting, tiring day.

We had so much fun and we want to share our day with you.

On Monday HES Highfliers played a fantastic game.  The player of the day was Drea and they tied all three games.  Well done HES volleyball players.  Whaea Tash.

Round the Bridges

A group of students year 4 - 6 have been training very hard at lunch times for this event. 

We all meet on the morning of the event and dressed in our Hamilton East shirts ready to run. 

We were given transponder's to put on our shoes. The transponder's tracked our time.

We all gave it our best effort. Thank you Jon for coaching the children.
